Description
An effective means of sealing large-diameter openings for copper/plastic/steel pipes. A fire test including Roperhurst plastic pipes with 4.5mm wall thickness and 900mm diameter resulted in integrity of 66 minutes at Effectis Netherlands. IS-13-15-03-19
Designed with intumescent material to provide effective fire protection to large copper, plastic or steel pipes which are marked as fire risks. In the event of a fire the pipe collar closes down to seal off the passage of fire and smoke within 20 seconds. The intumescent material expands several times its origonal size, reacting immediately when attcked by flames in order to create a protective layer.
This product can also be supplied in range from 650mm to 1000mm, specifically for larger pipe sizes.
