The Fire Brick Vent is used in to be used in replacement of a brick under a sealed cavity tray (SCT) to allow ventilation. The brick can be installed under the SCT every 2 metres. The fire brick vent is designed with small holes to prevent rodents from entering the cavity but also designed to allow 41% of free airflow. It has sealed intumescent inside so during a fire the intumescent will expand and seal the brick, to prevent fire penetrating and air flow.Manufactured from zinged metal with a powder coating, the standard colour is black but we can make it to any colour.
